Immunizations protect people and communities by preventing the spread of disease.  As more people are immunized, the risk of disease for everyone is reduced.

Vaccines are safe and effective. Getting an Influenza and COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and others.

Influenza and COVID-19 vaccines can be administered at the same time.

Health Canada has recently approved a new formulation of COVID-19 vaccine, an XBB.1.5-containing COVID-19 vaccine.  Individuals previously vaccinated can receive the XBB.1.5-containing COVID-19 vaccine if it has been 6 months from receiving a COVID-19 vaccine or 6 months post infection, whichever is longer.

Pharmacies throughout the province will have access to flu and COVID-19 vaccines by mid-October.  Please contact your local community pharmacy for availability.
